       About termites.

•  If left unchecked for too long ​termites can cause significant damage to your home.
  
• Termites eat the wood (or other cellulose material like paper, cardboard, etc.) of your home from the inside out.
  
• Homeowners often do not notice they have termites because they are usually hidden away behind walls and in dark areas. By the time they do notice, there is usually significant damage already done to their homes.
  
• Termites can die from exposure to the elements very quickly. They will stop eating when they get too close to the exterior of a section of wood. They will then move on to eat the inside out of another section.
